The concept of this picture is to show the 'reality' and those different interpretations which can exist in front of it. Itachi holds 2 conflicting symbols: a heart shaped light for the 'good', and a kunai for 'evil'. Behind him there are mirrors that reflect only one side at a time, one half or the reality, as so as that reality shaped by our beliefs, our prejudices, or desires.
